You contact us by clicking here. A Wise Mediator will make contact with you by telephone for a 20 minute obligation free chat about our mediation service, how it works and how we can help. - Intake Process
If you wish to mediate, then our Wise Mediator will do an in-depth 1 hour confidential intake process by telephone with you, usually within 2 business days.
Our intake process is to get further details from you regarding the dispute issues, your concerns from your perspective and what you would like to achieve in mediation.
We go through the issues to get a better understanding of the dispute and the details to better understand your situation and prepare for the mediation. This process is completely confidential. - Invitation to Mediate
We make contact with the other party to invite them to mediation, and confidentially discuss your dispute.
Our Wise Mediator explain the invitation to mediate, the mediation process and, and answer any questions the invited party may have.
If they wish to proceed then we send a fee estimate and our mediation terms. - Intake Process with Invited Party
Once the invitation to mediate is accepted, then our Wise Mediator will do an in-depth 1 hour confidential intake process with the invited party, by telephone and usually within 2 business days.
Our intake process is to get into further details from the invited party about the dispute issues and their concerns from their perspective and what they would like to achieve in mediation.
This enables the Wise Mediator to get a better understanding of the dispute issues and details to better understand your situation and prepare for the mediation. This process is completely confidential. - Mediation Day
After the intake process has been completed, we will schedule a mutually convenient mediation date.
On Mediation Day, we will do a brief introduction session with the parties regarding the rules of mediation, then work with the parties through the mediation process which may include joint sessions and also private sessions, and/or separate sessions, to help the parties work through the issues and reach mutual agreement. - Document Draft
If the parties reach a mutual agreement to settle their dispute, then a document draft will be provided to the parties which reflects the agreement mutually reached in mediation.
Our Wise Mediator will review the document draft with the parties and if the parties are happy they can each electronically sign the agreement.
